Sam Elliott, his wife Katherine Ross & their daughter Cleo in the early 90's @ Buckskin Joe's Theme Park in Colorado.
They were making the western movie "Conagher" (a Louis L'Amour film) there & while my hubby was stationed @ Fort Carson, CO. we had season passes to the theme park.
If I remember correctly only persons w/ a season pass were allowed in the park during filming.
We had our video camera & I actually unknowingly walked in a "saloon" during a scene & Sam asked the security how in the "bleep" did I get in there. LOL
And I have it captured on film!!! :o)
Then he was to give an interview to a local tv station & our kids asked him for an autograph & he told them he would after his interview (I also videoed his interview).
As soon as his interview was over he looked around & asked, "Where is that little girl who asked for my autograph?".
He actually looked for her & gave our son & daughter both autographs AND posed for photos.
As did his wife!!
Funny thing was when we 1st entered the park we had stopped to look @ some beautiful horses & a little girl was playing w/ them & our daughter who loves horses & her started a conversation.
She was bragging saying they were HER horses.
We were like yeah, right! LOL
Turns out they WERE her horses, her Dad was Sam Elliott!
She was Cleo Elliott!
They were VERY nice & acted like normal folk!!!
Also have met these country music singers:
George Strait - needs no explaination... :o))
Aaron Tippin (he actually runs a gun/hunting type store in TN & is there quite often) - (sings "You've Got To Stand For Something" & "Kiss This")
Marty Stuart ("Hillbilly Rock") - he was a disappointment :o( looked drunk & unkept
Conway Twitty ("Hello, Darling")
Tim McGraw & Faith Hill
Mark Collie ("Something With a Ring to It")
Lee Ann Womack ("I Hope You Dance")
Lila McCann ("Down Came a Blackbird")
Ronnie McDowell ("Older Women Make Beautiful Lovers")
And many others I have forgotten.
And ROCK back in the day (70's):
Dr. Hook & the Medinicine Show ("Cover of the Rolling Stone")
Aerosmith ("Toys in the Attic")
Also this actor ain't famous YET but was in "THE NEW WORLD" w/ Colin Farrell (filmed in late 2004).
He is a Native American named Arturo Tointigh Adrian.
He was a core warrior in the movie.
Him & Colin are friends.
Arturo ("Artie" is what we call him) has been to my house as well as to the hospital (last year) to visit me...several times.
The nurses even let him play his flute for a healing ceremony @ the hospital.
He was @ my house just a couple months ago.
Pretty cool!
My son has partied @ bars in Birmingham, AL w/ Charles Barkley (NBA star - he is from Leeds, AL) & says he is funny as all get out.
Very friendly!

My daughter met Kyle Massey (That's So Raven) and Ashley Tisdale (The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody) at a Girl Scout event at Legoland California.
My only brush with fame is that I went to high school with Dave Roberts, who plays MLB with the San Diego Padres. He played on the 2004 Boston Red Sox , that won the World Series that year. He is a really nice guy and he's married to another former classmate.

I keep bumping into politicians. I met Gough Whitlam at my local bottle shop and I saw Kim Beazley at a McDonald's on the way to Canberra.
I've also had a telephone conversation with Jimmy Somerville, does that count? And once I went backstage and asked Nick Cave for a coathanger when I was locked out of my car.

Reginal Del Johnson, Micheal Jordan (BIG DUDE), Alex Trebec (sp?), Jennifer Love Hewitt, Charles Barkley.
The funniest was Reginal (the cop in Die Hard and Dad in Family Matters)
He was short but had a VERY tall woman with him. He has a great smile and used his humor. MJ was VERY nice had a outgoing personality. Jennifer was quiet and just grinned alot. Charles Barkley was jabber jabber jabber.
Alex I just said hello to so he seemed nice.
