I'm for Public School. If you think about it in ways of education- A public school teacher is required to have a degree and has to report to her supervisor. She (or he) must follow educational guidelines and make sure each child is passing. Whereas a mother at home teaching her children most likely does not have a teaching degree and wouldn't give them the same guidance a public school would. PLUS you don't have PE or better chances for scholarships... I'm mean the list goes on and on. And don't get me started on social behaviors. (I'm currently working towards becoming a CPS worker and know what I'm talking about.)

Honestly, I think that public schooling is better for MOST children because it allows them to develop their social skills better. The majority of homeschoolers that I've met seem a little "off" for some reason. I think, though, that some children need to be homeschooled because of situations that can come about in public school or other problems (bullying, bad school system, etc.)

Public Schools. Because kids learn a lot more than academics in school. They learn how to get along in society. How to be a social creature and the ins and outs of getting along in the world. If they are totally sheltered from it and not exposed to both the good and bad elements in society (other kids) they won't be equipped as an adult.

Personally I think it would be public schools. At least the children have other students to interact with, sports and activities to try out for. Dances and sporting events to go to. Learning about friendships, "crushes" and first loves.

It depends on what is available in your community regarding schools and the quality of the teachers. Also, it depends if the home schooling parent is motivated and able to teach. They both have their ups and downs.

I think that both have pro's and con's to them, but ultimately kids need to learn how to socialize, and that is something that you can't get form home schooling.

public schooling. kids don't learn to interact with others, sitting at home with Mommy, all day. besides, who says Mommy is all that smart anyway ? She is, after all, sitting at home UN-employed.
