noticed a lot of people are putting that wal-mart is cheaper....i used to do competitive shopping for both companies, and granted there may be a few items at walmart that are about .25 cents cheaper, but after doing it for a few years on average walmart is maybe about 2 cents cheaper on most of there items. And for 2 cents i think target treats people better, and there employees. So in working and shopping in both Target is def a better store and company. They are so much more focused on giving make and volunteering in the community, they are just better over all

i like target, but it is sometimes too expensive so i do most of my shopping at walmart, and i dont care for that, its always crowded and people will push others out of their way, i cant tell you how many times someone has rammed me with a cart, i really hate going there during the xmas season, it get bad. but like i said, they are cheaper then any other place around here so i try to deal with it.

Most definity target, it carries things cheap but the brands are actually nice and not like generic stuff like walmart carries--target just seems cleaner and what not-i love it-oh plus where i live when all those stupid gansta teens run out of things to vandalize they like cruize down the isles and fool around in walmart like its cool--its not. lol. target hands down ;)

KMART! If I need something small, such as a notebook, or something around the house, that they have in Walmart and Target, I'd go to Kmart. They need more business.

Target seems "upper class". It's marketing campaign has elevated it to that status. I like Target better for that reason. Wal-mart has a blue-collar, immigrant staffed connotation. It's probably true for both though.

i prefer target over walmart anyday...its cleaner, better quality, more laid back, better people shop there (not saying i dont shop at walmart sometimes, but seriously, you know what im talking about) and the selection is SO much better. i love target.

I like walmart because their selection seems to be wider and they offer better specials. They usually have several kinds of the same item if you want something different or maybe better quality. Their employees are very friendly and know where items are in the store.

Wal-Mart is the better of the two franchises because it has more cheap generic brands than Target.

Definitely Target. Better quality items in many departments, no overcrowding, and you can buy items that are not 'family' oriented(as Wal-Mart calls them), such as CD's with explicit language, which you cannot do at Wal-Mart.

Target because the clothes and jewelery are so cute. Wal-mart looks like it is picked over items.
