good sites for learning opera???

Question

i know of a teen friend who would like to learn to sing as an operatic soprano. does anyone know of any good beginner/teen opera sites to start?

sites where she can get a couple of advice/tips, etc for the beginner... of course she is currently looking around for an instructor, but she would like an influential site to get a grasp for it.

You can't learn opera from a website, as wonderful as that would be some times. What your friend needs to do, if he/she is serious, is to get a voice teacher. There are a lot of websites that can be used as references: aria-database.com for any relevent information on different arias, operabase.com as a general reference tool, and operacast.com for simply listening to opera broadcasts over the internet are good places to start. But, and this is very important to remember, these are JUST references! Opera can't be learned from a website, just like you can't learn how to ice skate, or be a bran surgeon.

Ohh sure its ultimate to evaluation from television shows incredibly in case you get to love them then you somewhat will study somewhat quickly yet you go with the "common "common tagalog to get you began.I found out english from television shows. i don't recognize any shows like that yet you could check out youtube ,yet besides i'm watching phil video clips which I acquire from torrent and that they are exceedingly good and humorous too.
