before i had the right brush i used a q-tip but mac makes a WONDERFUL brush calle dhte 217 pencil brush ( i think) its in the shape of a pencil id invest in its about us$25

chose your color very carefully maker it either slightly darker or slightly lighter
then use a small brush and and right where that bone starts in the middle of your eye just follow that.

You need an angle brush.
