this happened to me too, just that he didn't say bye, he disappeared and appeared again with excuses every time. i guess it's either that he's trying to find someone and whenever he fails he comes back to me or is having fun. anyway, he can't be very serious and i suppose it's something similar in your case.these online affairs don't really seem to work, but maybe friendships online do- i have friends online and i like this- but only friends, no deeper feelings involved.
