Part of her did. Part of Elizabeth is drawn to the dark side, so to speak. She's been fascinated by pirates her entire life, and she longs to be able to live a life of adventure. Some part of her lusts after Jack Sparrow because he represents all the excitement and adventure that she is just dying to try out. Of course, being the proper lady that she is, she probably would have never acted on her urge to get involved with Sparrow had she not needed a way to get him to stay on the ship.
