Modern technology has changed contemporary life in ways that no one could have imagined even 20 years ago, and many of these changes have made life much better;however, technology also has presented some unforeseen problems thatwe are struggling to deal with. (examples cell phones, laptops caller Id's, dvd players ect.)

Cell Phone, Convenience is a positive, lack of privacy and consideration for your personal time is the downside.
The computer, access to a world of information is a plus, the quality and quantitiy of that information is a negative.
Microwaves, Convenience is a plus, time saving is great. Quality of food is a minus as is texture and taste.
Cable TV, A choice of programing is a plus, Quality of programming is a minus.
