Recognize that negative thought and twist it around to a positive thought and Keep Repeating it to yourself. You can try to change what you don't like. For example, if you think you're fat, get on a diet(not those crash diets) and excerise. Also, think of one or more positive things in your life and when you feel like a negative thought will consume you, go back to that positive thought or image. It will overlook the negative.

Controlling the mind is not an easy thing but it can be done with constant practice. The easiest way to control the mind is to chant the Maha Mantra or the great mantra for deliverance. Man means mind and tra means to deliver. Delivers the mind from suffering and illusion.

1. analyze your worry
2. think of what would be the worst that may happen due to your current problem

Find a professional person who has training in helping people like you with this type of problem............you are not the only one to have this happen to them and there are strategies that one can learn to help you think in positive healthy ways.........talk to your physician or counsellor about this and get a direction.....you have recognized what is the cause of your physical symptoms and need to now find a person or person who can help you move ahead.......good luck.......

Try Mediation! because in doing this it help you to clear your mind completely and when any negative thought come in you turn it around for example I cannot do that change it to i can do that because I know that I can acheive it if i keep trying. When you focus your self on postive thinking you will find it easier to keep doing it . Then after 6 months negative thought will not come near you.

Practice. Seriously. Re-affermate to yourself all the blessings you have. Ask Jesus to take the bad thoughts from you and put a hedge of protection around your mind, so satan cannot get in. The bible says that demons FLEE when they hear Jesus' name! The devil gets to us by planting a seed, a thought, in our head. Ask Jesus, and picture him, yanking out the weeds and kicking out the rocks in your mind that the devil put there. And through out your day, tell yourself what is going on with you that is good. Example. . .
I'm in traffic, but I have a reliable car and I am healthly enough to drive on my own.
Etc.

you must examine the parts of your concious thoughts, and feelings that make you feel this way. and also find how they relate to your belief system, and question the validity of the beliefs that you hold. once you examine your beliefs, you can chose which ones are harmfull, and which ones to replace them with. this can be done through any sort of repititious thoughts on those ideas. post a note on your wall next to your door to remind you of who you are, or want to be. or remind yourself mentally, this is what the ribbon around your finger is supposed to represent in iconology.

think of 2 positive thing about yourself and say something positive toeveryone you talk to. In time you will be think positive. It's called train your mind like how you train yourself to ride a bike.
