That is a LOT of money to say the least. I only get a third of that amount to live on for a month, and I'm taking care of my parents. (read my profile)I would feel rich if I had that much money coming in every month. (my parents pay me to stay here the state won't)I hope that you will have a very nice Christmas.
There is no reason that I could think of for you to get that kind of money every month from your x husband just because he cheated on you. You are acting like you have the only husband out that there that has cheated. I really don't even know how you got alimony in the first place. Alimony is what you get after you get a divorce and you never worked and he supported you the whole time. And you say that you worked while you were married. I'm sorry but you are giving us women a bad name. Don't get me wrong, I hate a cheater and they get what they deserve but I think that is going over board. You are just a bit on the greedy side. Just hope that you can live on that much money. You sound as though you live pretty high on the hog. Must be nice. Now get a life, get off your lazy butt and go to work and make your own money! .....I hope that you are not working some where AND drawing that kind of money from him as well, cause IF you are....oh my goodness I don't EVEN want to go there...............

My mother only received $200 a month for alimony after being a stay at home mom of 2 and wife for 12 years.
$1,500 is an outrageous amount of money. But, it's also based on the income of the man.

11 eleven years of your life with a man that you loved is a long time. I wouldn't want money I would want the eleven years back, especially if he was the one to end the marriage. If you ended it why should a man give money to you.
