Relationships can be tough work, trust me. Sometimes you just have to take a breather. Sometimes you just need a break from each other. Think about all the good times you have had together and think about how much you care about this other and you'll get through it. Life can be hard but it always gets worse before it gets better.

Ugh - I've had that feeling before...

Sometimes everything seems to be slipping away and you're going nuts.

From a relationship standpoint - talk to you significant other... get clarity.

And once that's done - try talking about what's going on in your head. I've found that these two steps can help a lot.

In the event that the significant other wants to move on, at least you know. And you can go from there. It might also help with the mind losing part... at least once you have clarity you can start to think ahead.

One way or another, I would suggest addressing your concerns about your relationship first.

After that, however painful, you should be able to clear your head to some extent, and concentrate on where you want to go from here.

Oh - and if the feeling persists for several weeks - see a professional... sometimes a bit of professional advice or even medication is useful, particularly at this time of year, when so much is going on and messing with our heads.

heh i had to see a shrink about this so.. here is what she told me. Whenever you feel like you are going to a dark spot in your mind----yell. The sound of hearing yourself scream at abosultely nothing-causing you to laugh. Laughing releases endorphens (sp)that makes you happy. If that doesn't work, you are suppose to play a game with your mind. You picture a box in an empty room. All of your negative thoughts are suppose to be put in the box. (which is your job), once they are in the box..use your mind to move the box to the back of the room.
I like the screaming best. Cause its fun and startling at the same time. You feel a little funny doing it, but it is half the fun--not to mention you will almost always smile.
As far as when you're around people, strike up a conversation with someone, just say hello. Smile and pretend nothing is wrong. Put on the biggest cheesy-ist smile you can and laugh at yourself. Hang out with happy people and always do things to keep your mind off of it.

*note- the box thing---takes a lot of practice...remember its like a game. The more you do it, the better you will become. Good luck.

Yes. One must know the actual meaning of life to actually be happy. This world is Maya or illusion and is temporary and full of misery. We are not these bodies or minds but we are conditioned souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. The quickest and easiest way to have the veils of illusion removed and become completely happy is to chant the Maha Mantra (the Great Mantra for deliverance). Deliverance from illusion and suffering.
Hare Krishnaa Hare Krishna Krishna Krishn Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Say it loud enough to hear each syllable and say at least 108 times. I can tell you a website where to get more information but you have to write me or they may call it spam.

Exersice will help you to not feel so down. 30 minutes a day. Go outside for a very brisk walk. Lexapro is a great anti-depressant, in my opinion. I have been on it for just over a year. Go to a dr and tell him your problems, an anti-depressant may be just what you need. As for the relationship, it may be your perception, but if not maybe counciling will help. GOod luck, hon.

I just kind of got over a situation like this, you have to realize that anybody who causes you pain does not have your best interest at heart no matter what i am still getting over the relationship i was in, i decided that i did not want to stay in a relationship with someone who did not care about the fact that i felt like i was being neglected, trust me it gets better you just have to take the focus off of them and put it on you.

greetings,

I am going though something like that ,..at the moment. it's so much easier when you seek out a counselor .. so one that you do not know. I have found this easier.... In my opinion, this way to go about it. to let these feelings run their
course. Thank you, Ms.Kate
