High Plains Drifter,..and I think near the end of it he paints on the towns name-sign HELL in red paint? If your into the violent revenge movie genre, 'Sudden Impact' [starring Clint] is awesome near the end when he finally 'gets them' in an afterhours amusement park setting,..crank up the surround sound just before that part starts!!! High plains drifter. It was a revenge/ghost story. He had been murdered and the towns people stood by and let it happen. So his "ghost" comes back and messes up the town. Good movie.
