I seem to always get them dirty at the office (not even doing physical labor) and it seems taking them to the dry cleaner all the time would be extravagant. I guess this also is a question of basic maintenance for little specs and spots you get on them during the day or week, like salad dressing or what have you...

Heads up on the do it your self -stain removers. Check with your cleaner if they have had problems with customers "do it your self" products. Yes they get the stain out. But sometimes when you get it back from the cleaners the spot now has color loss in the area of the stain. Them chemicals in the self-stain removers loosened the die and the cleaner’s chemicals reacted with it. Now no stain but now no color. Many of are customer’s clean there shirts weekly and the suits bi weekly. Most get 2 wearing for a suit or slacks then clean. Shirts always 1 wear. Remember always clean your suit together not separately, once or twice ok If you have any questions drop me an email

Normally once at week is good for dry cleaning. But if you have a bad stain, take that evening. Immediately, if they are expensive pants. There are some spot removers for dry clean only clothes. You could try one on a less expensive piece of clothing. If it works, keep it in your desk. Hope this helps.

Get yourself about a dozen of the greatest invention- Tide sticks- they look like magic markers, they are sold in the laundry detergent department of all stores- you get a stain, just use the tide stick on it and voila' the stain is gone and there is no residual ring--it works great on ties and even white shirts with spaghetti spatter!!

Oh, the best thing- they only cost about $2.50
