I need to mud a ceiling for a room inside a trailer. We have the materials I guess you would call it but what tools are necessary to complete this project. Also, do I have to go about this a specific way, is there a how-to guide on this project out there somewhere?

try the library for a guide and also ask the paint salesman at depot or a paint store theres a brush for this project soft and round primer the ceiling and if you have harder joint compound add a pint of paint and whip it in with a paddle bit or mixer bit on a drill ,, then roll the joint compound onto the cieling with a 3/4 roler make it thick and roll it over in a pattern thats sort of even .. now take the damp with water round stomping brush and dip it in the joint compound now stomp the pattern in rows down the cieling from front to back evenly and in between rows drag the brush lightly so the rows have borders between them .. now if the compound isnt hard its soft or light type you can use it from the bucket and then paint it with a satin for lite or flat cieling paint after a feww days dry time OK theres the way i did it for years

I've been in the building trades for over forty years and I'm telling you now to forget it unless you have an experienced person with you, this is something that you just can't do without lot's of training and skill. I even have to take a time out every once in a while and think. Forget it. Get someone that know what there doing.
