Check out some of the Animorph books. They tell you what it feels to be a bat since the main characters in the book turn into bats at some points in the series.

They hang upside down a lot. Some eat insects which would be really gross. Other kinds eat fruit and some live on blood. You'd go to bed at dawn and get up at dusk. The cave you live in would really reek of massive bat droppings called guano I believe. You probably wouldn't live very long. It would not be a good life.

Cany really answer for bats - but i have been a vampire for around about 8 years now and its pretty, cool you get to go out every night and then sleep all day - downside is you get really bored of drinking blood and completely lose your tan.

You have awesome hearing, can barely see, spend most of your time eating small insects, and of course, you get to fly. You're also nocturnal, so you get to sleep all day.
