I would have to say Schindlers List. I am 31 yrs of age and had never seen that movie before this last month. I had to watch it for a project in college and I am saddened I had never seen it before. I even had my children watching it with me. It brought so much to us all. In highschool we never hit the holocaust as we should have..hence why I had my children watch it. They/we got to see just how bad it was, and how bad it could be if people were still in that frame of mind basically. One of my children even asked me, *what is a jew*..it's a very great learning experience, and it's a movie that none of us will ever forget.
Seeing the concentration camps and the torture that so many had to go through, due to their beliefs and whom they were, was just so dis-heartning.
Also, I seen a lot of questions asked prior to this one, about the little girl in the red coat. It amazed me how the lil girl was able to blend in with the nazis, walk next to them and escape for sometime. Schindler up on the hill side with one of his mistress's at that time, watching all the jews be displaced once again, and he did nothing nor said nothing. He remained to be his *cold* self, only worrying about making money in the factory, until the one day the exhumation was called about and he seen that lil girl in the red coat, lying there in the wheelbarrel, then n there, is when his heart showed mercy and warmness..shortly the list began..
Sorry about this being so long..this movie really hit us and is still so in my brain like I seen it yesterday.

The debates became so hum drum with all scripted answers and their own agendas being spoken about. So after all those and the same old things being repeated on all the stations ad nauseum, she comes along. So there was a huge demand to find out everything they could about her. The new kid on the block. And she had a colorful family to boot. So all eyes were focused on her and what she had to say. Now that she is not cooperating with the investigation into her dealing with the firing of the Alaskan officer, she has lost a lot of her credibility and with lies comes resentment. Bye bye Palin.

When I was a kid, my mother took me to see a movie about a girl and her family hiding in the attic of a house. When the authorities discovered their hiding place, the movie near ended with their door being kicked down. There were windows to the roof. I would have gone out and at least TRIED to get away. The all just stood there waiting for the soldiers to come in and take them away.

What, no knives, no boards, nothing? to fight back.

Conspiracy theory. the original version did not have such a happy ending. After everything, they were still being followed by a stealth helicopter. It crystalized in my mind the concept that government control is complete and unrelenting.

Fahrenheit 9/11. Nothing else struck a chord like that before, except of course, 9/11.

Empire of the sun. I saw it as a little kid and I was surprised to know that the Japenese had people in camps in asia like the nazi's had in Europe.
