I have 2 toilets in my house and both of them are flooding to the point it looks like someone left a water hose running on the floor. It's so gross. But the wierd thing is that when someone flushes one toilet both of them flood from the bottom. And it's all fresh water. Not toilet water but the kind you get from the sink. Clean water and we have already snaked all the drains. We have asked several people and they have no clue. And my grandfather it trying to tear down both toilets so we need answers fast because once he starts something you can't even force him to finish it because he's so childish. Anyway will you please help me?! I'm desprate here.

hon i'm sorry but do you have any trees near your drain line. sounds like roots have infiltrated your sewer pipes. you can buy stuff to cause the roots to die but it takes time. rotor rooter may be your only answer but theyare expensive on overtime. good luck and lol

Were the toilets snaked right to the main sewer in the street? We had the same problem and a plumber had to come in and open up the sewer clean-outs in the basement and snake them and put drain cleaner in them. They were really jammed up with all sorts of stuff. He said the only thing that should go into the toilets are waste and toilet paper, nothing else, no tampons, diapers, cat litter, nothing. Since he cleaned them out and we have been a bit more careful what goes into the toilet, we have had no problems.

Though I have not had this problem, the vent pipe on the roof of your house may also have gotten plugged with a birds nest or a hornet nest. That will cause a back flow of pressure and not allow the toilets to flush properly. Have someone go up on the roof and check the vent pipes, that could be an easy fix.

You may think you snaked the drains, but you haven't gone far enough. The blockage is farther down. Throw your grandfather out of the house because the toilets aren't the problem. Follow the drain line and see what's connected and where. Does a sink farther down drain well? Then the blockage is ahead of it. Check the vent pipes...these are put there so there isn't a vacuum when water rushes down. They're small pipes that stick out the roof or the side of the house. Snake them out or pour a bucket of hot water down. Animals can clog them with debris or nests.

It sounds like there are 2 issues going on at as quickly as; you have a blockage interior the substantial drain line on your place working out to the sewer and the drain on your basement the two does not have a backflow prevention valve, or the valve isn't working suitable. call your city or close by water/sewage dept and tell them that drain to the line isn't working and you have it cleared. that's no longer something that universal proprietor of a house can accomplish on their very own because of the fact it oftentimes demands a skill auger. As for the valve on your basement drain, you will in all probability desire a plumber for that.
