i dont use eyeliner- all i use is mascara, powdered foundation, cover up on a need basis, and maybe blush occasionaly. my question is if i should use eyeliner. and if so, what shade? i know some white women use brown. i have a fairly tan skin complexion, freckles, hazel eyes, brown hair. and what brand is the best? any and all help is greatly appreciated

you dont HAVE to wear eyeliner....i personally look better with it because i have round cheeks that make my eyes look small so it highlites my eyes......try it and just see if you like it better.....i use perfect blend by covergirl....comes with a blender on the other side so it doesnt make the eyeliner look chunky or too intense

liquid liner -- MAC or Bobbi Brown's little gel pot liner's
These pots are a little more expensive, but well worth the investment. You need to buy a liner brush-- but that's a one time buy. One pot, lasts me a year. And I wear eyeliner every day and touch up often.
stick -- Revlon Color Stay
I tried a bunch of brands, and when it comes to the pencil, revlon colorstay works best for me..the non-sharpening one
as far as colors, for dramatic i'd go for black, for more natural, check out shades of brown

I suggest that you use a deep brown or extra dark grey. Avoid black as it will be too much on your skin tone. I suggest you use Bare Escentuals (Bare Minerals). Apply the liner with a brush by pushing it gently into the lashes on top and bottom.

Everyone should use eyeliner. It is important wear it just on top, or top and bottom. You should never wear it on just the bottom. That makes your eyes look small. Darker shades are more effective. Good luck!

Just buy a few and experiment!! my coloring is similar to yours, I use black or grey, or sometimes a teal color, this one looks nice with your eye color. Don't forget to blend it though!! And don't over do it! These girls that draw the big black outline around their eyes, seem to have no clue that they look like heroin addicts!!

i think brown or gold because i have tried black eyeliner and it clashes with my brown hair

black with white looks very mod
a brand i recommend would be rimmel, its really accurate if you like liquid liners

I think that a dark green would be pretty - try Clinique's moss color:
