They are exactly the same. In fact many times they are made at the same facility but just have a different label. Many things are sold this way, chips, peanuts, candy, liquor, medicines.
just compare labels and active ingredients to be on the safe side.

And I Quote: OMG, some doctors are so stupid!!!! Breastfed babies with diarrhea or stomach flu do NOT need pedialyte! Breastmilk is the PERFECT food for that situation. It is easily digestable, and will keep them hydrated. There is so much wrong with that advice, and SO much more wrong with alot of the answers being given here. How can you compare YOURSELF not wanting to drink milk when you are sick, to a BABY nursing for comfort and health???????? Anytime my babies or toddlers were sick, the only thing they could handle was breastmilk. Even through the Norwalk virus, and a SEVERE stomach flu in April, my toddler did not end up in the hospital, when so many of his peers did, on iv's for dehydration. He probably WOULD have been in the hospital had it not been for breastfeeding. *********** /end quote. My doctor told me the same thing once when my then 16 month old had severe strep--that had I not been nursing him he would have been hospitalized. Pedialyte has plenty of fake, synthesized and processed ingredients that aren't in breastmilk, so in that way, your doctor was right, there's plenty of crap in Pedialyte that's not in your milk. Ignore your doctor and nurse your baby.

Pedialyte and Parents choice Pedialyte are the same thing, just different brands. All it does is replace electrolytes in children to prevent dehydration from diahrea and vomiting.
