so where is the best place to buy a good sounding amp?? (no beginners stuff either like "first act")??

dont order from the nternet. they usually sell faulty gear and stuff and ive always had trouble with it. id go to a local music store that has bass stuff and just try the amps out (they should let u if you ask) and see what works best for you.

Well, it really depends on how much you want to spend. I am no bass player, but places like Guitar Center and Sam Ash will probably sell bass gear.
