He just not good at whatever he's doing. He wasn't a good student, skipped around in national guard, didn't do well in business school, had problem with drinking/drugs, had mixed business career, and now he's the president. Iraq war going out of control fit perfect in his resume.

It's oil. It does not make sense otherwise. Saddam was not a threat even if he had weapons of mass destruction. He was a cruel dictator, but so are the ruler of Sudan, Kim Jong Il, and several others. Iraq has the second greatest supply of oil on the planet - maybe 112 billion barrels. Bush wants to ensure a supply of oil to preserve our lifestyle. It is not a religious war, as it was not Bush's objective to rid Iraq of Muslims. It may be a religious war between the Sunnis and Shiites, but not against the Kurds, and I don't think religion plays that much of a part between Sunnis and Shiites either.

I think it was a mistake. Bush should have never invaded Iraq. Instead he should have cooperated with other nations to ensure a fair distribution of oil to all and to help combat global warming. But now that he did it, it will be hard to get out without possibly losing access to Mideast oil.

show me any evidence at all that Bush is stealing oil, the world is watching and we'd know if he was, so can shut up about the oil
its not happening hippies
also if you believe the invasion was an evil thing on our behalf
then think of the thousands of Kurwaitie killed from his invasion a further 90,000 people murdered within iraq between 92-2000
of suspected people who were against him just ask the x iraqi soilders that immagrated here, i did. **** saddam

The nameless, faceless sub-humans who control our government from behind-the-scenes ordered Bush to illegally invade Iraq for one primary reason: OIL.

If Bush really expects to withdraw troops from Iraq by 2009, WHY is the United States building the largest embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad overlooking the headquarters of the 'new' puppet government installed in Iraq by the Bushites?

It's all about OIL - easily, accessible OIL. -RKO-

I don't believe he went to war for the oil or religion. I believe he declared war on Iraq to take attention away from the fact that he is an idiot. Who really knows? After all, he's the "decider."
