There was a bandaid in it. Im not joking, it was disgusting. In a quesidilla. He took a bite an it was in his mouth and when he took it out he saw what it was. We called the place he got it from an they said he was lying. So he asked for the managers #. He called and the guy told him to come in tomorrow with the bandaid. Isn't that sick. So we want to get an attorney. We our wondering how much we could get for this and how we should go about a attorney.

I've heard this exact same story. A bandaid in a burrito. That person should not have been making your food. This is how hepatitis is transmitted. I'd be more concerned with that than how much money you can get. But you do have a legitimate case. Call an attorney.

U cannot hire an attorney thru Yahoo Answers. U have to look into yellow pages to locate one in ur area.

To prove that the bandaid was found in the food will be difficult. Why not make a complaint to the joint in writing.

You're not going to get much unless you actually got sick, I mean hospital sick, missed work sick.

Even with an attorney, you're probably not going to get more than what it's worth to them to keep it out of the newspapers.

Even so... do NOT give them the bandaid. That's your ONLY piece of evidence.

Perhaps if you called the corporate offices Monday, and simply told them the story, and asked them if they could tell you why you should NOT get an attorney or call a press conference.

I had a similar experience last year. National chain mexican fast food store, was eating a burrito, bit into a sheet metal screw. I first tried to deal with the store but after being lied to twice about the refund on the way I contacted a lawyer. Was told that since I did not suffer a physical injury I did not have a case against them. I wound up having to threaten to have the manager and employee's on duty that night arrested for theft since I paid for food and not only got inedible food but they left out part of my order as well... Amazing how fast people will cough up a refund when you start talking about having them arrested.... good luck!

Hopefully there is some blood or other residue on the bandaid so it can be proven that came from an employee and not yourselves. If the bandaid looks really nasty you'll have a better chance of getting something.

Any punative or work related damages? Can't go for those if not. However, mental anguish is a good arguement. You could even sight emotional damage. If he threw up because of it, you could even sight pain and anguish. Hehe, do your best, I'm sure your lawyer will take up this case. Plus, whomever you bought the product from is going to want to settle as to keep it from going public. Don't settle right away, they will be more than willing to add a couple zeros to keep your tounge.

Disgusting!! I would be furious. That is why I very seldom go out to eat or bring home. I think all restaurant are dirty. We went out to eat Thanksgiving Day and I saw two roaches crawling at the food,my appitite left quickly.

You should get a refund for your meal and nothing more. Why try to make a buck out of it? Get a refund, never eat there again, tell your friends to never eat there again. Talk about greedy. Seems like everyone is out for a quick buck.

It disgusts me that your only thought in this is money.
