I don't think it's wrong at all. If anything, a girl may be with a guy at her maturity level if he is older and in college. There are old etiquette books that assumed that a young lady would be dating a man older than herself.
I think the challenge is in how large of an age gap is presented here. If the girl is 16 and the guy is 19, it's not too much of a problem. If the girl is 14 and the guy is 22, that tends to be more questionable simply because there can't be that much in common between the two of them (unless they grew up together).
Now unless the couple is doing something beyond that of going out on dates, there's nothing wrong with the relationship.

If you're with him because he's a nice, smart, generous, fun guy then it's fine. If you're with him because he's in college and it's cool to date an older guy, it's not okay. Make sure that he wouldn't be committing statutory rape by having sex with you. Find out the age of consent where you live. Also, you have to be ready to let him go to bars and nightclubs without you when he hits the drinking age and you're still underage. That is the biggest problem I've seen with older guys and younger girls- the teen girlfriends get jealous when the guy wants to start clubbing. That's just one of the downsides of dating an older guy, and you'll have to learn to deal with it. Insist on a full STD test before you have sex with him, make him show you the results, and use condoms and the Pill. He'll EXPECT sex. Trust me.

Well, it depends on what age of the college student. My son who is in college is dating a high school student. IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE PARENTS TOO!
