Soul mate, is someone we have met and loved in other lives. These are the people we find in our current lives - that we feel a pull to be with - no matter what, many times.
This does not mean that the person in question is suppossed to be with you forever, but maybe that you have to go thru a lesson together and then each go their own way. We make our own path, even though some things are pre-destined (not changeable) many can be changed, so ultimately we choose who we want to be with, no one can do that for you, not even God.

Possible, but difficult to find. Many people think they have found a soul mate to discover later that they were mistaken. When you first meet someone you automatically put your best side forward and try to find common grounds to endear yourself to the other person. In time this assumed stance slips and one discovers that in fact there are vast differences in opinions and tastes. Added to this people mature in different ways and directions, and you end up being with a person you can barely recognise as a soul mate.

Most definitely...and you might possibly only understand if you have met yours...you will meet them when you least expect, when you are not even looking... they will walk into your life and you will know them...you will feel as if the missing piece of life's jigsaw has just been put into place...this is not just fancying someone or falling in love...you will already know this person although you have never met them before...you will know their pain, you will know their needs...Savage Garden summed it all up in a song....''I Knew I Loved You before I Met You''. And if you do find each other.. you will have been destined for some reason so be kind and loving to that special soul.....

Absolutely, yes! Although, it may take years to discover, even if you are married to that person. It is hard to describe, but a soul mate is someone who is a second self, someone who knows and accepts everything that is both good and bad about you. A soul mate may be able to think your very thoughts and actually finish your half spoken sentences. If you are luck enough to have a soul mate, do not take your relationship lightly.

I think that there is. I think that in ones life time we meet so much people, but, then, we also meet certain people that we just fit with. Whether it be on friendship level or love level, etc... I think that is the natural attraction of our species. Animals do it, bugs do it, plants do it. We all have need to connect. The connection form one person to another, just expands the whole experience...

I hope there is a soul mate out there for me!! I can't wait to meet you!! ")

Possibly. Well yes, I imagine there must be a human being with which each of us fit perfectly. I would also reckon there are probably dozens of soul mates.

There are many possible soul mates for an individual. It is just a question of which one you choose, either consciously or unconsciously, to attract.

Definitely, I met mine at work 12 years ago, he was happily married to someone else and still is. Soul mates don't have to 'be' with each other, we appreciate what we have is so special we won't let it go.

Yes soul mates are out there but we have many choices and love overcome most anything.
