I am one those people!!
I like to be able to find things when I need them everything in my house has a Home and I have rules in my home as well
You dirty it you wash it
you take it out you put it back
umm
people seem to have excuses for messy houses but I REALLY don't think there is one that is Legit because I work full time and my house is clean not spotless but I can find things and don't have search all over the house
For example stay at home moms who's houses are a mess drive me up the wall In my Opinion all it is just plain Ol LAZINESS!
I mean what do they do all day long it really doesn't take long maybe 10-20 mins a day providing that you teach your kids to pu things back where they came from!!
When I lived at home with my mom it used to really bug how much of a clean freak she was
But As I get older I think all of her nagging has paid off
I dunno what it is about cleaning my house but when I am done at then end of the day it gives me a sense of well being I can see what I accomplished that day! Everything is back in it place and I can relax! It makes me feel good!
I Live by the saying CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS!!

Yes there are ppl who live to clean and love doing it. I clean houses by day and offices in the afternoons...there is something magical about transforming messiness into tidy and shiny. Somehow when everything is orderly and clean it affects your personal life as well. And as a professional tip: if the kitchen is clean the rest of the house doesn't seem so bad.

I do! I mean it isn't one of my favorite hobbies or anything, but I like how good it feels to be surrounded my clean and organized rooms, the environment of my home really makes a difference in my moods as well. There are some things like vacuuming stairs and dusting that I HATE to do, but for the most part I love cranking up some music and scrubbing the dirt away! Haha, I know I'm probably sick in the head but I'm happy so who cares?!

Believe it or not, I'm one of those people. I think it's because I like the comfortable feeling of being in a clean house or being organized. Or maybe I'm a little strange. :)

I like a clean house and live by the motto, a place for everything and everything in it's place. I was also raised hearing my Nana say "cleanliness is next to godliness."

I love cleaning my house-it makes me feel relaxed. It sounds a little weird, but I look forward to cleaning my house.

YES my grandmother lived to clean. She could of made dirt itself clean. Her house always looked like a museum, and not a single thing out of place. My mom always joked that she should of owned her own maid cleaning service.
But its not so much that she enjoyed it. She suffered from compulsive and also paranoia type disorders, which progressed worse with age.
But you have to admit that even when you're bed ridden and in severe pain, yet still manage to clean house like crazy, then cleanliness obviously is a top priority in your life.

lol...I like to clean, but not because I have a dirt fetish or anything. I just like for everything to look all pretty and sparkling, and it gives me a good feeling to know I did it. Yes, I know, I'm about to get pain and fury rained down on me for being a freak or something...(:-)

I don't, but my mother does. Her two main hobbies are cleaning and yard work (particularly mowing the grass). When I was a kid, her response to "I'm bored!" was ALWAYS "Well, I'm sure you could find something to clean." For years, I was positive she said that just to annoy me, but now I realize: that's her hobby. It would be something like if I told my kids to cook or scrapbook or read (my hobbies) if they complained of being bored. :-)
