This is a question for all the 9/11 conspiracy theorists flooding this website. I want to know if you guys, who think terrorists had nothing to do with 9/11, still accept that there is a radical wave of Islamic extremism in our world today. And please don't reply with, "Yes, I also think there's Christian extremists, Jewish extremists, etc." You KNOW what I mean: IS there an increasing group of people that hate the West and hate freedom and profess Muslim faith? I want your opinions.

I think some of you aren't following the question. My question is for 9/11 CONSPIRACY THEORISTS; the question is not solely "Do you believe in Islamic extremists," but rather, "IF you believe the U.S. government is responsible for 9/11, ARE there still Islamic extremists?" Please don't ignore the details.

I believe there is.

I also believe the so-called "peaceful" Muslims that do not speak out against terrorism are part of the problem.

I don't think the Government was part of the plot.
I think the government was derelict in giving people from certain regions of the world visas for flight training.
Profiling is a good idea.

Here is example of Government Stupidity and DERELICTION

opening paragraph from link
"MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Six months to the day after Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi flew planes into the World Trade Center, the Immigration and Naturalization Service notified a Venice, Florida, flight school that the two men had been approved for student visas. "

Unfortunately the above link cannot be found (at this time, it was there a couple of days ago)
And I try to post links from reasonably reputable sources.
Not off the wall conspiracy theory websites.

but I found something else that confirms the the excerpt above.

White House deputy press secretary Scott McClellan said the president noted the reports that the Immigration and Naturalization Service sent student visa approval forms this week to the Florida flight school where the two trained to carry out the terrorist plot. The school received the approval notice Monday, exactly six months after the New York attacks.

the final present day hazard proceeds from the union of yank jews and fundamentalists, engineered via Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein and Daniel Lapin,in stay overall performance with Ralph Reed. As Poheretz has mentioned,if this crowd maintains to control U.S. foreign places coverage after the development that has emerged in view that 9/11 we damn nicely will see yet another armaggedon,in view that they of course prefer the united statesmilitia as a golem to wreck each and every Arab state, purely because of the fact Jews do in comparison to Arabs. The Isreali ambassador to the U.N. calls this the "conflict endlessly". No ask your self the Arab states are scared and - probably - prefer nuclear hardware.

I have asked this before also, and have found the answer to be that the govt. of their own respective country carry out some strange things themselves as the reason why. They continue to say, that the east is not a major threat at all, but rather, bush and them are friends

And no, I am not a conspiracy theorists, this is just what I have found out about their beliefs

We will all get along when we keep our noses out of each other countries business. If we are to get along in this world and survive as a species we better learn to use detente and learn to get along.

Its not usually the average citizen that creates these problems as it usually is started by Governments and their agencies like the CIA or in the past the KGB in the former Soviet Union. Today we pay for the actions that the CIA created back 20 or 30 years ago.

If you look at Northern Ireland they still have their problems and there has been funding from not only the Irish in the United States but other parts of the world to support the IRA cause.

We should all learn to get along in this world, Heck the Cold War should have taught us something, but no there are still die-hards that need to war.

As one who supports the scientific theories of 9/11 and the undeniable evidence that shows there was a cover-up, I must say I actually admire and appreciate this question. Please let this response come across as constructive.

Of course, there is Islamic extremism in the world. It is a major problem. But I believe there is an indirect link to government sponsored terrorism by Islamic extremists, and the United States government itself.

Examples:

15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudia Arabia. It is a country which supports Wahabbism, an extremist form of Islamic fundamentalism which is taught in their schools. Wahabbism violently rejects Christianity and Judaism. In this country, you can be jailed for publically demonstrating these beliefs. Yet you have Cheney hanging out with the Royal family of Saudia Arabia as I write this. Our corproate cash flow into this country is beyond comprehension. Saudia Arabia's televsison networks often have fundraisers for suicide bombers's families living in Israel-controlled Palestine. No one in this administration has ever spoken out publically against the Saudi government and its tacit approval of Islamic extremism. It is a tyrannical and oppressive regime.

Another example is Pakistan. Here is a country that apparently became our friend only after the war on terror began. Yet they still today by even the CIA's assessment, produce more terrorists than any other country. Their schools, much like the Saudis, teach anti-Semite and anti-Christian beliefs as part of the regular curriculum. There's been recent evidence that Pakistan's government has brokered deals with northern groups in their country to protect Taliban refugees and possibly protect bin Laden himself. And yet the foreign aid we now give to them is in the billions. The 9/11 Commission itself (although a whitewash) stated quite clearly that Pakistan is a major part of the problem when it comes to Islamic extremism. Has Musharraf, the dictator we support, done much to stop it?

One last example shows how foreign governments twist Islamic extremism in their favor with the support of the United States - Uzbekistan. The sub-Asian oil fields lured the United States to this former Soviet territory and is regarded as one of the worst for human rights violations. Here, you have law-biding Muslims rounded up in brutal fasion without a right to a trial and imprisoned, tortured, and sometimes killed. I bring up this case only because it shows how governments use the "islamic extremism" card only to give themselves carte blanche to disregard basic civil liberties and torture people indiscriminantly while receiving tremendous aid from the US.

I would agree with you that the number of these extremists are increasing. It is obviously a problem. But how many of these extremists are the result of the double standard propogated by the US which protects civil liberties and religious rights for some, but not for others?

9/11, when you look at the facts, does not address all the unaswered questions. I don't wish to bombard you with too many examples, so I'll give you just one related to this issue:

Muhammad Atta, the alleged ring leader of the 9/11 attacks, received $100,000 wire transfer from an agent under the ISI, the Pakistani intelligence agency. The general who authorized this transaction was fired, but it is unclear if it was due to this. If he or others aided and abetted the likes of Muhammad Atta, I'd think we'd all like to see them behind bars. Why wasn't this ever brought up by the 9/11 Commission? Would not we consider the people involved in this transfer to be compllicit in the murder of 3,000 Americans?

I believe as a true American, if you are, you would demand to know for sure if there are any other terrorists responsible for the 9/11 attacks. But I don't believe it matters if the outstanding accomplices are Islamic extremists, or secular Christians, or Jews, or atheists. You seem like a rational person. If we were to catch any other people involved in the 9/11 attacks, we would punish them to the fullest extent of the law, regardless of their national or religious background.

If we are serious about eliminating Islamic extremism, then we need to look at our foreign policy and the economic and military aid we provide to certian countries. The indirect link is irrefutable. In a sense, we have harbored those who have harbored the terrorists based on the examples I gave above. We also need to support more education around the globe to ensure that America's image is taught and portrayed in a fair and balanced manner. Lastly, we have to consider that terrorism isn't always the product of Islamic fundamentalism and that we should create a universal standard for dealing with those who intend to harm or kill others. Perception is key here - one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. And if there are those who livein these oppressive countries and hate America, does that necessarily make them extremists? Does our disdain for Islamic fundamentalism make us anti-Muslim?

Peace and search for truth.

I'm so interested to hear the answers that I don't want to loose the question. Didn't know any other way to keep track of it.

I don't qualify to answer based on your question being for 9-11 conspiracy theorists. I'm not one.

Did you really think they WOULD follow the progression? I mean it's hard when you're busy being abducted by aliens and such in between coming up with conspiracy theories about US involvement with 9/ll. It kills their train of thought.

Obviously there are extreme Islamics who hate freedoms that we have, they're burning each other in their holiest places, killing children and women all for minor differences in their religions. You have to remember though, for every extreme one there is probably a less extreme moderate one.

For centuries people have hidden behind their religion while committing horrible acts. Muslims are no different.
