In other words, do you believe mankind's development has been a process that follows the doctrines of creationism or, on the other hand, do you think it follows more on the path of evolution? Do you think the two can be linked in any way?

Both. The theory of evolution is valid in that it describes what is happening to what was created.

As Creation is only doctrine, there is no "theory of creation". Nothing in Biblical Creation mentions advancement -- only a steady decline.

The theory of evolution does not have a direction regarding intelligence or cultural advancement, at least in reference to biology. Some extended theories look at cultural evolution, the idea that ideas and technologies advance a group faster than genes. For example, cultures with iron age technology had a distinct advantage over bronze age societies (1 Samuel 17).

Both. What makes you think humans are advancing? We are destroying the only planet we have to live on before we have the ability to live on any other. I'd call that ignorant and self-destructive, not advanced. Turkeys drown when they stick their heads underwater to get a drink. Marbles have to be put in their unnatural feed to get them to eat (they're shiny, so the turkey pecks) or they starve. We humans are not much different, on a larger scale.

Netiher "theory" is concerned with 'advancement'.

God has no hope for us.
Evolution is consistent with global extinction:
The universe doesn't care one bit.

WE made that progress paradigm up.
It's OUR myth. Why does everything have to boil down to category mistakes and false dichotomies on this website.
F this place.

There is no theory of creation. So your question needs to be rephrased.

what is this human advancement that you speak of? there are lots of technical advancement, but we just use those for depraved things... we're still killing, lying, stealing, cheating, etc. just with better equipment.
