Dragons are carnivorous and opportunistic feeders. Often sitting by their hidey hole waiting for prey to come to them. They eat a wide range of foods from crickets to cockroaches here in Australia. They also eat vegetable matter. At certain times of the year, we can come across Bearded Dragons and as part of their bluff process, puff out their beard and open their mouth, hissing madly. In their mouths are sometimes small yellow flowers or small blue flowers. Peas etc are okay, but too many can scour them, give them the runs.
I have hand fed wild bearded dragons lettuce on more than one occasion, they even have come back the next day for more. The other thing that they seem to relish is snails. Meal worms and woodlice seem to attract them once they get used to them.
As with anything feeding on an unnatural diet, a supplement is a good idea. There are quite a few out there and the ones I prefer are the ones that that you feed to the food before feeding it to the animal.

yes, they can. Don't use fruit as a main staple, use Collard greens, mustard greens, or turnip greens, topped with those veggies that you listed. and one fruit choice. Try to limit fruit to 1-2 times a week, it is more of a treat. But none of those will hurt your beardie.... but im not 100% on the prunes, so don't quote me on those. Neither of my beardies care for carrots, they eat around them.

they can if they like them, crickets are the number one staple for them. Try not to change their diet to often as this will leave to bowel/intestinal problems, try 1 new thing a week, if you find something they love then give it to them sparingly kinda as a treat. they tend to like regularity in their diet. As other answers have said don't use it as a main staple. hope you find the answers your looking for. Oh yeah, carrots a few shreds and they will love them, those you can always leave a few in their dish, just put new ones in every couple days and take out the old dried ones.

depending on how old ur beardie is babies and juveniles eat mostly meat (insects) about 80% of their diet and 20% veggies, greens and fruit when they are adults they eat the opposite 80% greens, veggies and fruits 20%insects... we have beardies for many years and bred them ... check out our info site for more info on beardies.... yes they can eat all of them just no spinach it will kill them... but prunes are a little chewy i wouldn't advise feeding ur beardie that.. it might be a little hard to digest..they do need mostly greens for ther diet...do not use head lettuce do to it has no vitamin content...rule of thumb is nothing bigger then from between the eyes and nothing longer then from their eyes to the end of their snout....

yes they can and they can also eat tofu, brocolli, cauliflower, kale, collard greens, mustard greens, can dog food, and then when they are full grown they can eat pinky mice(extra protein), watermelon, cantalope, honeydew, cheese, boiled chicken. i have 2 of them and they eat all sorts of things, just don't feed them anything with citrus like lemons, oranges, tomatoes. i feed mine every other day, you can also feed them crickets every other day for the protein. mine eat every day one day i feed them veggies, next day feed them fruits, next day i feed them crickets, the next i give them pinkies. i rotate their food and not giving them the same every day. also don't forget to use the vits for them. you will need to use a calcium and a multi-vit with the food, add the vits to the food every time you feed. good luck.
