~Thanks!

Verizon sucks a lot of dropped calls, cingular is the best at not dropping calls and they have roll over and of course anyone u call that has cingular is FREE!

GET VERIZON!!! I am very satisfied with their service and the people there are very friendly! And the best phone manufacturing company is Motorola. Verizon has the RAZR and the all new KRAZR. Don't get any crappy pre paid phone service like Boost or Virgin Mobile. And avoid Nextel! They are very expensive!

One thing...be sure to check the coverage in your area before you get anything! We have that problem. Signed up for Nextel and it barely works at our house...we have to go outside where we get very low signal to even talk. But we are stuck in a contract. Other than that Nextel is a great company. Great customer service. Neat phones. All in all pretty good.

Whatever you do, do not go with Cingular. I had a cheep crappy phone and I wanted to upgrade it. At the time I had 1050 minutes. They offered me 400 minutes for the same price I was paying! They wanted to cut me by more then 600 minutes. Then I went to change companies. I was no longer under contract but I had to pay for the last two months for a cheep crappy phone I was no longer using. Beware! Go with Verizon or U.S Cellular. They're much better!

I think it depends on where you live. I see a lot of people bagging on Verizon but we have been very happy with them and have never had our calls dropped - BUT with Cingular, Sprint and T-mobile we have lost calls or got zero reception.

I would specifically ask for suggestions to your location.

Verizon all the way. I've been nothing but happy with them. I get great signal in places I couldn't at all with T-Mobile. I've also never had a dropped call with Verizon.
