Everytime i type certain letters, and press certain symbols, it does an unecesary action, and it is very annoying.

When i press space, it sometimes types a number, doesnt space at all, or makes a lot of spaces.
I tried restarting my computer, it doesnt work.

Took me forever to write this, but how do you fix it?

You might have SpyWare. You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

This double whammy will help keep you safe and running faster

Good luck and Happy Computing!

Unless this is some wounder wiz bang keyboard try replacing it. In IT land we rarely even waist time cleaning keyboards anymore, it is cheaper to just replace a mouse or keyboard then to pay someone to troubleshoot.

If you do want to troubleshoot this issue, try booting the PC in to safe mode and testing to see if you still have the same issue. You can get in to safe mode by tapping the F8 key on your keyboard as windows boots. You need to push the F8 key directly after (or before) the windows splash screen loads.

Please note that some applications may not load in safe mode, I recommend using notepad. If the keyboard acts normally in safe mode then the issue is software (keyboard driver) related. If you still have the same issue then the keyboard has an issue and needs to be cleaned or replaced.

If it's looks like a driver issue then try installing your keyboard and rebooting windows to allow it to re-detect / install the device. Be sure to have any software that came with the keyboard handy for reinstalling.

Hi. Keyboards are so cheap now that you may be better off just getting a new one. You can try taking it apart to clean the contacts which is fun.
