China didn't get a billion people from the tooth fairy . Actually I think that the Asian countries that I've traveled to are very open . Thailand is very tolerant of prostitution and gays and transexuals as are Singapore , Cambodia , Phillapines . Here in the US there is a sex trade but it is hidden better . I personaly feel that all persons are sexual beings .

Maybe cause the traditional culture wasn't open to it, now the gates are open and things have changed. i agree with you, although maybe a taboo in some ways, it's become really popular.
