For straight cuts, you can get a manual tile cutter at Lowe's for about $20. To cut around pipes, use nippers. They are like pliers, but made for cutting tile. Just nip away enough tile to fit, and cover the rough edges with the escutcheon plate.

Use a good glass cutter with a straight edge to score the face of the tile and then break over a small dowel, for the corner cuts use a diamond wheel in your dremel or skill saw.
Don't forget to use a dust mask and safety glasses

go to home depot the have tile saws for home owners cheap money and work good makes the job look right or buy a tile nibbler remove small pieces of tile at a time do not try to take out big bites

The problem with doing a lot of tile cutting with a machine that is not optimized for it is that it adds drudgery to the project. A wet saw isn't that expensive new, even cheaper used, and cheapest of all rented.

or rent at depot the wet saw for half a day lay out the floor from the center lines chalked there now work out the pattern from that dry and then cut it all then return the saw some folkes run the whole thing off the best square side or long side ok dont forget to remove the toilet and then replace it with a new wax ring and bolts you may need a plastic collar to raise the toilet to the new level ask at depot

Either rent a tile cutter, buy one, take the tiles to HD to have cut.
Where you buy tiles may let you use it for FREE. ask

try tot RotoZip, or get a Dremel....they have the tools and add-ons that can do it and not break the tile...
