okay i had my cartilidge pierced for about 5 months and hurts and i have a little bump behind my cartalidge piercing and infront wat should i do to disinfect it imediatly help me should i put my earing bak on ? or get a new one?

yea i mean its not that big its a lil slight bump not a buble i constantly put neosporin and alcohol and its gettin way better than it was before am i doin the correct thing? should i wait to put a earing back in?>

Same thing happened with my daughter's. She finally just took it out. Nothing cleared it up, except taking it out.

NO! Don't putt alchohol or Neosporin on it! It'll just dry it up and make it worse!

Use pure, boiled water and mix in some natural sea salt. Allow it to cool and use the mixture on a Q-Tip to apply to the front and back of the piercing morning and night.

STOP using alchohols on it!

SEE A DOCTOR ASAP!!!

Skin infections are nothing to mess with. You may need antibiotics to treat it. Especially in the cartiliage area - this is the most prone to infection, and in some cases, require surgery to get rid of the infection. (Leaving you with a deformed ear. Not a good time.)
