Badly.
Badly for them or for us. Most likely both. Either way, the only ones that profit are the morticians, a few insurance salesmen, smugglers of various illegal weapons, and the politicians.
The rest of us will just have to cross our fingers.

That's a great question. I'm not sure if there are any answers for this one.
One thought is to fight them to the end. Another thought is diplomacy, non violence.
Most of the fighting is because of religious beliefs. Essentially, this will carry on for a very long time.
I like to think of terrorists as a disease like cancer. There are many treatments. Some treatments work. Others don't. But if you don't try fighting to beat the cancer, then you have no chance.
Regardless, whether diplomatically or physically, America and the rest of the world must continue to fight this battle against these diseased people.

I think the US will beat the terrorists alright. It's just that the rest of the world may take some time.

Let's just hope it is between terrorists and the rest of the world.
With Russia selling missiles to Iran, and NKorea making threats, who knows how things could line up.

Either
1. Iran, etc gets a nuke and takes out a major city and we get serious and nuke the entire Middle East.
2. We use force and win this. No more PC war. Death and destruction.

a victory for america only if a democrat wins the presidency. we can't expect oil-hungry fools (Cheney) to fight terror when they have a close relationship with terrorists (Iran).

Lets see how the democrats handle the issue. Once they find out you can't negotiate withe them and you have to kill them , then we will have the upper hand.
