I don't know about success but if you expect to get hired anywhere you'd better dress up. Many human resources people say that they don't consider someone who shows up dressed casually. If you want to be hired put on a suit, this is for both men and women, and if you're a man include a tie.

yes you should always do. a suit and a dress shirt always work. and make sure that your shoes are nice a clean. when meet a person of any power they will always respect you.
