I am looking at websites that are selling wholesale ideas. Is there anyway i can find out if these websites are for real or not? Like is there a website that will tell you yes or no?
Thanks

Websites come and go, and it would be nearly impossible to keep a current registry of names and ratings.

But there are a few things you can do to try to locate a reliable site. First you can check the ownership of the domain name. Go to www.internic.net and do a WHOIS search - this should show who owns the domain name, with address and contact information. You can see and verify if the information is okay or if it is questionable such as incomplete or totally bogus information, or if they use a free email address like hotmail, etc.) and also see the date that the domain was founded, which gives you some information on which to base your decision. If a state/location is provided you can try to check on the local Better business bureau site, to see if there is any feedback there. You should also do a websearch on the domain name to see if any boards or sites contain negative or positive information about the place. Finally before you place an order, see if you can contact the company and ask for references of satisfied customers, and see what the reaction is.
