My father was an alcoholic. He did nothing to support the family but getting drunk.
I promise myself to be different from my father. I don't want to touch alcohol.
I don't want other people to judge me as a useless alcoholic like they did to my father.

My dearest friend of all, a guy who calls me the other half of his soul...got drunk one night, when he knew I had to be somewhere early the next morning, and called me, every 10 minutes or so, all night long. I was so angry, I almost refused to speak to him again. His dad (my fiance at the time) made him apologize and take me out to eat somewhere nice that weekend. But that morning, showing up at a major meeting with black circles under my eyes and looking my full age, I COULD HAVE KILLED HIM!

Yes, my friend came to see my on my birthday sloppy drunk, I found out he was doing X and then he ditched me. I haven't thought of him in a positive light in a long time.

Not really, have heard of really screwed up people who really screwed up but have only known people whose true nasty colors only intensified when drunk/high. Losers!!

well, once my cousin, which i thought was a good man and husband, went drinking and when i was outside the bar, which i just happen to passby, he grabbed me and vomited on my new shirt, of course i was so mad, i didn't think twice i gave him a punch and i made him pay for my shirt

yes my cousin let me down severall times... he went to jail twice, he was a member of the bloods, did drugs, drank,and now he is suposed to be "straight" and he is marrying a wonderful girl.
but the other day i was at his house and right in front of me he starts smoking marajuana. it really hurt me. i thought he was "sober" but he just let us down... agian

yes. one of my closest friends came to our high school high. she was so messed up. i felt so disgusted and i know i shouldnt have but i couldnt help it
