Mexican foreign nationals who work in this country ARE paying for Social Security and other "taxes". The American employers who criminally invite and hire undocumented foreign nationals withhold those taxes and Social Security from their pay and keep it for themselves.

Because they put a drain on our school, hospitals, they work but don't pay taxes they go to the hospitals and don't pay there bills they live 10 to a house own 1 car with no driver license. You say that you see no blacks or whites outside working, first the blacks don't work much construction or any thing else. The white work construction but the Mexicans have taken all the jobs, they will work for less then anyone else ,remember I said that 10 will live in one house well they can live cheaper than the rest of us can they have no bills. The money they make the send it back to Mexico or where ever they come from. They are in our country illegal.I don't know where you are from but I know people don't come in illegally if they did they would be put in jail.We as Americans cant go to Mexico and buy property or a business or come into there country illegally they would put us in there jails, but we don't them, the one that come to our country illegally and pay there bills there way.pay taxes and live like an American then it would be no problem but they don't they use us and our system.I still work construction but I work where they cannot they want hire illegals.

What people who complain about 'illegals' don't realize is that the quotas and laws we have in force now did not exist a hundred years ago, and they were enacted out of fear that we would lose 'our American way of life' (whatever -that- is). Those laws were used to turn away Jewish refugees from Germany before WWII and persecute immigrants who didn't agree with the government about WWI, and now we're using them again, only now we're being self-righteous: "Let them get a visa and a green card...do it legally!" By that measure, neither of my two sets of immigrant ancestors were legal! So which country will I be deported to--Ireland or Italy? Or maybe they'll split me up and send the pieces by air mail??
My point is: Forget the stupid laws. They don't work anyway, and a lot of people suffer who shouldn't. Let whoever wants to come and work, do so. And the terrorists? Before 9/11, there was the Unabomber, Tim McVeigh, the Columbine incident...if we aren't cowering in fear after all that, then why are we afraid of some homicidal yahoo just because he comes from another country? We can't foresee everything; so we should just live free and help others do so, and never regret that no matter what happens.

well! well! well! Now let's just look at these darling immagrants. If they wanted to come here an really start a new life that would be ok. But thats not the case. They come here and do the jobs of us americans because the ones that hire them can get them cheaper and almost for nothing. When I was a teenager I picked cotton and tomatoes for my school clothes and then came the mexican. And they would work for pennies and there went our jobs in 1985 I had to sue pacific ag because they would not hire this white woman but would hire the mexican woman the mexis complained that I worked to fast and that would get the job done to soon. I won they owe me a job for life now. the illegals come here for one thing and thats welfare and medical. They get everything free and they play it well and they send the dollars they make back to mexico. They live up to 5 families or up to 15 people to a house. Well sorry you need a reality check on immagrants.

The government needs to recognize that they need many of the illegal immigrants that come into the US to fill certain jobs, which it has not done so far. It's convenient not to issue temporary work visas because that means the people who come here to work are paid very little (sometimes not paid for a while), they cannot file tax claims, and the owners of whatever establishment reap the benefits.
I understand that many people come to the USA to provide for their families that they are leaving behind because they have no options or opportunity for advancement in their country. I feel that this country has not done enough to acknowledge their importance; I also feel that many people don't have all the facts and therefore say unkind and even aggressive, hurtful things about people who enter the United States without legal status.

Lets work on grammar and spelling before we go into politics.

Where I am there are mainly US citizens working construction, perhaps because it is REQUIRED. The only place I see immigrants are doing landscape or waiting in a designated area to be picked up for a one day job here and there.

We do not object to immigrants, you are missing the point. We want the immigrants to be LEGAL, meaning all those jobs they work, they can pay taxes and Social Security like the rest of us., and stop cheating the system .
I don't know where you are, but where I am there are plenty of American Citizens working construction sites.

You dont' see them because wherever you live it's probably all illegals doing those jobs for way less than legal citizens will do them for... where I live I see tons of white and black doing construction btw, who the hell do you think was doing those jobs before before illegal immigrants started coming here in droves

from the time of the arrival of the dissenters from England, our country has been built by immigrants. every American alive today can trace his/her ancestry back to a continent other than north America. our history shows that we have welcomed immigrants for all reasons: religious freedom, to escape debt, to serve as indentured servants and slaves (barbaric as it was), for the development of new businesses. immigrants help to make our country stronger and more ethnically diverse.
i believe that any person who can demonstrate that he/she is immigrating to the United States for a better life, should be welcomed with open arms. the only group of people who SHOULD be rejected are the criminals and drug addicts/pushers.

i think they still let immigrants into the US... they go through a system and get a green card or VISA.

it's the illegal immigrants that we're ticked about.

some estimates show that 1/2 of the prison inmates in California are illegal aliens.
