The questions are stupid and the answers are sometimes worse. Does anyone really take this seriously?I think not. Can anyone say they got good advice from someone on this site. I think not. But I could be wrong.

Cool...I don't care either. But, if you're relying on answers from strangers to change your life...you may have a few problems...

I have answered countless personal questions.I come on polls for fun and a laugh.I have had suicidal people,self harmers,rape survivors,etc send me messages and questions.I don't just sit and rack up points.I genuinely care about people.I know I have helped many people,I have a lot of life experience.So although polls mostly is nonsense I take it seriously when a person is distressed.Sometimes people can't confide in anyone in their 'real life'.

I asked a question about dealing with kids with ADHD who also are sorely in need of discipline (my boyfriend's kid). I got some pretty great responses. I learned some stuff about ADHD. I also learned that it's not my problem. The responses I got made me think about how his kid's behaviour is affecting my daughter. I did a lot of thinking about this and broke up with the boyfriend last weekend.
So, yes, it did change my life, and the lives of those around me.

Why would this site change any ones life? I think alot of people here give good advise...If your in the entertainment section, then that's what you get entertainment, not serious answers...

You have to look outside P&S for the really meaningful quetions and answers. When I do have a real question or concern I've found lots of help.
