He may not have thought anything of it at the time. Do you have a fear or phobia of snakes? If so, he probably thought he was doing the right thing in not telling you until any 'danger' had passed.

I wouldn't worry about it too much!

If I had an irrational fear of snakes, it would be better if my husband hadn't told me.

If you are worried that there are still snakes or snake eggs in the house, you can ask your husband if he called animal control.

Don't get too worked up. I know it stings that he didn't tell you right when it happened, but now that it's over and done with, what's the point in fighting? When people don't tell something like this, it's because they know the people they are telling will just get reactionary about it and forget to be rational. Does that sound like something you may have done? If so, it just serves to prove his point.

It's not wrong. There's no problem now that it's fixed. He didn't really have to tell you in the first place, just so you don't worry about it. I think keeping it quiet was a good thing that he done. I'm sure if I was a guy and I was in his place, I would have done the same.

If he fixed the problem, and the snakes are no longer capable of coming into the house, he probably felt no need to concern you with it.

I think he should have told you. It may not have been a big deal to him, but what if you found one when he was not home and it scared the wee out of you?

This is a safety thing, at least to me it is.

He probably did not want to worry you. He probably should have never mentioned it at all since he fixed the problem.
