I'm 16 and I've had Migraines for about 2 and a half years, about 3-5 PER WEEK!!! And I'm dizzy EVERY day!, I have had CT scans, EEG, ENG, and countless visits with neouriolgist. In the past 6 monts alone, i have been on 14 diffrent medications for both preventions and treatment of the headachs. And with the dizzieness, I trip and fall ALOT! well, recently, when I fall, I'm getting brused more than I used to. In fact, the other day my bf gave me a hug, and It left a bruse on my arm, he didn't even hug me hard, just normal, and it took almost a month to go away. I never bruse, and when I do, It goes away, like 10 days, TOPS! The first thing they checked when I hadachs was my vision, witch is perfect, but I seeing waves, black spots, and (like when us see that haze off the asfalt on a HOT day. )like that. and I've passed out/ blacked out like 3 times this month. I have another CT scan scaudeled for next week, and now I'm worried about what they'll see. I haven't had one since march.

yeah, I've been checked for almost everything.... but no luck so far. They even put me on this special diet that only allows hypoallergenic foods (I don't get it) but that didn't help either.

Sweetheart, it sounds like you are having some worrisome problems. The doctors will figure out what is going on and "fix" it for you.

It may just be the migraines that are causing most or all of your problems. A migraine can show up in a couple of different ways.

Some people have headaches while other people have what is called "Migraine Syndrone". With migraine syndrone, you may see a zig zag semi-translucent line in front of your eyes. It appears to be around 6 inches wide. When you close your eyes, you will still see it which indicates that it is happening in your brain and not in your eyes.

You may have a "blind spot" in each eye. You can look at one spot and there will be a spot, to the side, that will be a blank spot. You move your eyes over some and the blind spot will move with your eyes.

You may temperaraly lose your memory but it will slowly return.

When it is over, everything will return to normal, and you will have a normal headache, and, with that, a great need to sleep. After sleeping some, you will wake up and feel really bad.

No one knows for sure what causes migraines and migraine syndrone but it is thought that the blood vessels, in the brain, contrict and cut some of the flow of blood off to parts of your brain.

Mine hasn't caused me any permanent damage as far as I know. I personally think the problem is caused by stress and nerves.

Is my description similar to your symptoms?

Good luck. Pops

It sounds like you've been going through a lot!

It is definitely okay and natural to be nervous about your next visit to the doctor. Hang in there and be sure to tell the doctor everything that is going on with you (such as your bruising), so s/he can do his/her best to help you. My husband's problems are similar to yours - I'm not sure if this will help but - read below if you're interested.

When my husband was 23, he began getting some really horrible dizzy spells. He also was put on a ton of different medicines and went through a bunch of different tests. Different doctors came up with different diagnoses - they thought he had an inner ear problem, they thought he had migraines, and they thought he had a wheat allergy. It has been three years and no one ever really figured out what really was going on, but with the right combination of medicine, he was able to get back into his normal life within a matter of months. He now only takes clonazepam once in a while when he really needs it. If he gets dizzy, he can work right through it.

I hope some of this message helps. All the best

You need to keep going to doctors until they figure out what the problem is. Have they checked to see if you have a inner ear infection (not your average middle ear infection, an inner ear infection) this could account for your extreme dizziness and falling. Your inner ear is what keeps us standing upright and keeps us from falling over. A viral infection in there could account for a lot of your symptoms. Talk with your mom immediately and have her help you. You are too young to do this all by yourself.

Have u had any blood work done. I would have that done right away. You say you don't tell you mother everything but do you tell your Dr. everything. And tell you mother we are normally strong people that can cope with nearly all what life throws at us and when we have all the information we can re-act with more knowledge.
