In the manga, what really happens with rin and sesshoumaru? Because while I was surfin the net, i came across some manga scans of inuyasha and saw them together. Not together like "lovers" together, but like a little cute one...hm... how should I say this. Rin was dying and sesshoumarou seemed very angry about(I wasn't able to actually know what was going on since the language was in japanese and it was only pages of them) It seemed sesshoumarou really cared about rin (in the manga, lol) but in the anime, nothing happens. Does that mean in the end sesshoumarou really really cares about her? here's the site of the scans to prove it:http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.wot-club.org.uk/Inuyasha/images/b_and_w/v47c10p17.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.wot-club.org.uk/Inuyasha/scans.html&h=902&w=635&sz=114&hl=en&start=122&tbnid=vvFaB3cF8DlgyM:&tbnh=146&tbnw=103&prev=/images?q=sesshoumaru&start=120&ndsp=20&svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&sa=N

MAJOR SPOILERS

If I recall correctly, this is what happened:
Sesshoumaru's mom stopped by to deliver a stone from his dad that would help him improve the Tenseiga.

A monster came out of the stone and Sessh. was fighting it. It grabbed Rin and Kohaku and took them to the underworld through the stone.

Sessh. went into the stone after them. He was able to defeat the monster and free Rin and Kohaku (who were inside it). Kohaku was okay.

Even though Rin was freed, she was dead. She dissapeard and the mom told them Rin had gone to the place where dead ppl go. If they were to keep going to find Rin, there was no going back.

Sessh told kohaku to turn back while he could, but both sessh and kohaku went after Rin. Sesh's mom asked "what is rin to sessh?" Jaken would only say that he seemed to care more about Rin than Jaken who was his loyal servant for so long.

There seemed to be a heavy indication that it's a father/daughter relationship.

I can't remember how, but they retrieved Rin and the Tenseiga couldn't revive her.

Sessh. was holding Rin and dropped his sword. He said that if he knew that this would be the price, he wouldn't have tried to improve the sword.

After he dropped the sword, he noticed it responding to the many dead ppl there. Like they wanted to be freed. He used Tenseiga to free their spirits.

Somehow, they were all able to get back through the stone.

Rin was still dead.

Sesh's mom said Tenseiga could only be used once per person, that life was not something you could play with and keep reviving ppl. (and that it wouldn't work on kohaku either if somehting ever happened to him.)

Then, she said "but just this once..."

She placed the stone on Rin's chest and she was revived.

I really enjoyed those chapters! Hopefully, I got the facts right.

Rin and Sesshomaru have a father/daughter relationship. And If you watch the third movie, you see Sesshomaru go out of his way to save Rin.

Although many think of them as lovers, I find it PLAIN WRONG!
