I tried letting the battery die and I recharge it and it still continues, i can't give it back because I got it on ebay and I have no refund someone that knows please help me!!, I'm about to lose 300$ I tried doing the restarting stage but it didn't work.

that happened to my sister's ipod too. we took it to the store and they gave her a new one b/c hers was broken - sorry... i think yours is broken too. give the ebay seller a negative report if they don't let u return it.

apple corporation is a very inferior electronics company.
you probably only bought the ipod because it's the most popular portable music device on the market. i don't know why it's so damn popular. the audio quality is terrible.
if sony makes a memory stick pro duo bigger than 20 gigabytes, then the playstation portable will take the ipod's place.
i'm sorry for the rant, but i had to get that off my chest.
i don't even know how to turn on any apple device, and i have never seen an ipod in real life, just the tv commercials, in store displays, and at the end of borat. sorry, i can't help you
