Well, my memory isn't too good...but it was probably the other day, to my daughter, though it wasn't bedtime. I sing to her a lot :)

~it somewhat is in 1996 after eating way too many beers with ouzo chasers. i'm suggested it grew to alter right into a haunting Greek lullaby that greater a tear to particularly particularly everyone interior the joint. And, i don't even communicate Greek. Nor do I even have any thought how the blazes i ended up in a Greek bar in Scranton.

The other night, ( Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ) when we were out watching the Leonid Meteor Shower,,the mood just struck me~! That was, of course, after saying Star Light Star Bright, First Star I See Tonight,,,because I did make a wish on every shooting star that night !. Great question, I bet you got a lot of people humming long lost lullabyes tonight !

When Baby was a kitten, and very ill, I sang to him on the way to the vet at 11 at night. He survived in spite of that.

My daughter, at 21 weeks of pregnancy, started having contractions the other night and had to go to the hospital. While they were waiting to see if the medicine they gave her to stop the contractions worked, I laid my head next to her tummy and sang "Hush Little Baby" to my unborn grandchild. The meds worked, thank goodness!

I sing along to Billy Joel's lullaby all the time.
I find it to be so wonderful...
It takes my breath away.
