First your going to go see your family doctor. He's going to give you all kinds of questions. Most are going to be related to money. This is in fact because a gynecologist in this area is going to cost you a lot of money. So, the doctor is just going to make sure you know where you stand. My own daughter did this years ago, it cost her, without the frills $18,000.00
And then that was without some of the equipment costs. I would venture to guess now it's going to run in the neighborhood of about $30 to 40 K dollars to have a baby this way. Do you want me to continue? most insurance companies won't cover it. This is because of all the issues involved.

It'd sometimes better to adopt.

I think that some family doctor's will have semen checked for abnormalities, sperm count.
The man being tested is the least expensive and easiest to find out first.

Your OB/GYN will recommend a specialist if he/she can't do it in her office. You probably are stressing this too much. Try to relax and enjoy and BOOM, you'll be pregnant in no time. Best of luck love. Happy holidays. Nana
