Of course! It's a huge life change...and I know you will adjust fine to it...and be a great dad..but for now..take care of your partner you guys are going through this together...talk to each other about your feelings...

It's totally normal. Anyone facing a big life event such as parenting would feel nervous. Your wife/partner is probably just as nervous about being a mom. If you talk to each other about your feelings, it will do much to dispel the anxiety.

Make a commitment now to share in the child rearing duties--yes, even middle-of-the-night feedings! Your wife will appreciate you so much, resuming romance will be a snap.

Take lots of pictures and videos and celebrated!

Congratulations!

Most future dads become nervous. The dads that are nervous usually become great dads.

Of course it is OK, being nervous means you have conscious, and that you can take responsibility, also you will be thinking about too many things, like how could you take care of the new family member, how will he/she see you as a dad, how can you make things come to the best of the both of you . . etc.

Being nervous is being a good dad.

confident, i exchange into very frightened. the way of existence exchange is extensive. i'm unlikely to sugar coat it, yet your first 3-4 months are going to be VERY no longer common, VERY stressful, and that's all there is to it...yet after that...get waiting for the main outstanding time of your existence. issues start to get VERY relaxing after approximately 4-5 months. Being a dad is outstanding. you don't understand what love is until eventually at last you have that little infant smiling and clinging to you. merely draw close in there, because of the fact like I suggested, it starts off somewhat tough, yet from there...there is not any longer something extra effective than being a dad. Congrats and robust luck.

Yes, it's natural. Being nervous shows that you care, which in return makes for a better dad.

Absolutely, it is always ok to feel nervous about uncertain things, you don't know what to expect and well it is all a new world, however just keep your mind focus on that little one and have fun teaching him all you have learned in life.

If you have a job and a good head on your shoulders you shouldnt feel nervous, id be kinda looking forward to see what my child looks like. Looking at this kid and you can see your self in him/her. Thats how I imagine it to be. You should be expectant, I would just stay out of the delivery room.

It's okay, and it's very normal. After all, it's a huge change in your life and a tremendous responsibility.

Do your best, always try to be there for your children, and you'll be a wonderful dad. Congratulations!
