To become immortal IN THE REAL SENSE first do the following:
Find a way to stop your dependency on food, on sun-light, water and blah blah besides finding ways to avoid decaying of your body.
Then I suggest learn ways to live all by yourself and nobody else but yourself coz I think life as an immortal would be very very very boring and lonely. Cheers

If all else dies, then there is no one around to confirm your existance, therefore - although you will never die - you will cease to exist with the loss of the very last life before your own.
If that's what you want to achieve, it's a messy procedure that involves cloning yourself until 3024 - living off the blood of your clones. I'll tell you the rest in 3090. Just get a tattoo now, so I know how to distinguish you from your clones.

We are immortal already.
"This individual soul is unbreakable and insoluble, and can be neither burned or dried. He is everlasting, present everywhere, unchangeable, immovable and eternally the same." Gita 2.24
What perish is the material body and we are not the material body, we only transmigrate from one body to another, when it dies. The point is how to stop enter a material body and to get a spiritual body - for that we need a bonified guru to help us.

Why would you want to live forever and ever?
Dying is a process of life.
Personnally, I believe in reincarnation, and you can't reincarnate if you don't die.
Plus, do you want to be immortal but carry on aging or be immortal and stay young forever?
What if you fell in love and your partner didn't want to be immortal, would you stick around to watch that person grow old and die?
Immortality is not all what it is cracked up to be.

Ive seen it done before, where you ground up a beavers eye, mix it with the hearts of a lion cook with a dragon's breathe (unaltered) just drink the mix and you'll be on your way to never dying...

Become Famous. Or go into a cryogenic chamber. Pop out every few years, live a little and then pop back in again. Do this until our future selves can figure out how to live forever..................
