It is harder to say that money is not important in living in the world. You'll be branded rare. Cause person that not need money is rare things in our world, and one that need money probably a monk or have other believes, or belong to another religious group, which differs from our normal kind of living.
Try to think that money represent almost all you see and touch.
It's virtual things represent all the things that you do.
--The world now you living, before you're born and after you die, is a cynical world.

Anyone of a mellow age has heard the expression "Money Talks and Shi_ Walks" . Rich people say that money isn't important but that is only if you don't have any. LOL
In a few years Social Security, Medicare and many support agencies will be unable to offer full services for retirees. Only people who have been frugal and saved money will live well.

If you don't have enough money to feed, clothe or house yourself, money is of paramount importance. If you have enough money to cover the basic necessities, additional funds are not going to make you happier. How much importance you place on happiness, of course, is a personal choice.

Simple answer is YES.
Although some fools out there say money wont make you happy either have loads of it already or dont have bills & mortgage etc to pay.
I am not rich & I am not as happy as i could be, If I were rich I would be a crap load happier. See, money can make it all better.

It is when you need to pay for living expenses but other than that I think being happy is more important.

Oh honey...yes it is. It's how we survive in this world. Do you know how greedy people are when it comes to money?They're willing to do anything just for money tsk tsk...I much rather work for it lol. But remember...money isn't everything.
