For a quick dusting I really like those Swifter dusters. They do a good job when you are in a hurry because you don't have to move everything to dust around. They also do a good job dusting the TV.

It's not difficult at all to clean a house that is uncluttered. All of our STUFF is what makes it take so long. I spend a day just going thru each room and decluttered and pitching. Don't even think about cleaning until you do that. Give your children a box or bag and tell them to fill it with clothes and toys for the needy. If you don't have an entire day to really clean your house, do what I do. Do a little every day. Clean a bathroom (I sometimes spray my bathroom mirror and counter space while I am putting on makeup or brushing my teeth). Always have supplies close at hand. A bottle of cleanser, windex and rags under every sink in your house will help. I am a single mom with two teenage sons and I work full time. I deligate small jobs to them. Once again, the best advice I can give you is to declutter and get rid of things you don't use or need. You won't miss them and your life will be simpler.

Make a system. Before putting laundry in laundry room sort colors darks and whites. Then be creative with orginization. Use wicker baskets with cool linings for different items that go into different rooms! Then for the bathroom twice a week just wipe off mirrors and other surfaces and then once a month give it a good cleaning. Those are some good ideas!

I take a laundry basket and go through the common areas and pick up everything that does not belong in that area and put them in the basket for putting away. Straighten everything the way it's supposed to look (you know, like if it was a model home LOLOLOLOLL) THEN, I vacume first, dust, and swifter. If it is major cleaning I use the "floormate". Repeat in every room.
