Yes, as long as the beer dosn't become an Idol. I'm not sure about other religions but for Christians it is not necessarily wrong to drink unless you are drinking to get drunk or get a buzz. Alcohol is typically not included in church because most people would tend to idolize it. Jesus himself drank wine. As far as blues go, there are "Christian" Blues songs. There is even "Christian" heavy metal so if there was beer and blues in church I'd probably go; again, as long as they don't become an idol this should be ok.

No; I don't object to church because the people there are dull and sober. I object to the messages that are being blatantly or subtly spread by organized religion. No amount of dressing up with booze or tunes will change the underlying message. It's a good attempt at a bribe, though!

A lot of the contemporary music is based on blues scales, although the beer thing pressing it a bit much.
